Lenten Sermon Series and Resources
Themes can help ground us in the season of Lent. While Lent is the 40 days between Ash Wednesday and Easter, the Sundays are not counted, for they are seen as “mini-Easters.” Fasts are broken. Life is celebrated. For some of the themes I have also developed a Lenten Candle liturgy, similar to Advent candle light, for Lent is the time to prepare us for Easter.
