Friday, January 3rd—Tenth Day of Christmas
The Gift of Invitation
Scripture: Philippians 1:3-8

Reflection: Paul was thankful for his friends at the church in Philippi and was thankful for their prayers and encouragement. It is good for us to spend time with friends when we can. It is good for us to invite others into our lives in different ways, as God has invited us to be part of God’s family as brothers and sisters. Remember that the Christmas season lasts two more days, and there is still time to have a Christmas party and invite friends over!

Activity: Invite friends over to play, make cookies, or do crafts together

Prayer: Jesus our Friend, we are glad that You have given us friends in our lives. Open our hearts to make new friends and to let new people into our lives, our churches and families. Amen.
