Tuesday, December 31st—Seventh Day of Christmas, New Year’s Eve
The Gift of Memory

Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:4-9

Reflection: It’s New Year’s Eve! What are some of your favorite memories of the past year? What was important to you? As we continue the Christmas celebration, we remember our memories are a gift to us that we take with us throughout our lives, as long as we can remember. And we may have gone through hard times, and sometimes it is good to move beyond and let go. What are some things you are ready to let go of from the past year?

Activity: Make a photo collage of memories from the past year.

Prayer: God of All Seasons, we thank You for this past year, for the good times and the trying times. We are grateful for the opportunity to turn a new page, and glad for the memories of good times that stay with us forever. In the name of Jesus, who leads us into new life, we pray. Amen.
